Today is the last day of lockdown! I have enjoyed sleeping in and staying inside to escape all of the cold weather. I am excited to go to school because I get to see all my friends in person and we get to start our mini – mester* for our drama play. I hope that we don’t go back into lockdown and that everyone stays safe!

*Mini-mester is when we perfect our drama play for 4-7 days. The only subject we do is drama for the mini-mester.

Hello readers!

This is my post about my school. (Wilderness)

We start school at 8:30am and finish school at 3:15am.

From Monday-Thursday the first thing we have is form. This is where we take the role, Mrs. Bradford talks about some articles on sustainability (we are doing sustainability in HASS) then we do touch typing, but on Monday we write in our gratitude journals.

On Fridays form isn’t until the lesson before lunch, so in the morning we have an extra 15 minutes before we go to recess, school still finishes at 3:15pm though.

Our class subjects are: maths, english, artemis (our new subject), HASS, science and digital technology (DTE).

Our specialist subjects are: french, music, drama (our play we are doing is Alice in Wonderland), music, production, chinese, art, library and physical eduction (P.E).

The Chinese currency is yuan. 1 Chinese yuan equals 20 Australian cents (12th of Feb).

A connection Australia has with China is that we are good two-way trading partners in good services.

An interesting fact about China is that it is the most populous country in Asia with 1,439,323,776 people in 2020.

Some of China’s neighboring countries are:

• Vietnam is south of China.

• Nepal is south-west of China

• Mongolia is north of China

 

 

A challenge that I faced during making my avatar was when I tried to get the the hair because it didn’t have a wide variety.

My name is Alicia and I am 10 years old.

My favourite subjects is art and drama. My favourite hobbies is tennis and netball.

I love animals, my favourite animals are rabbits and puppies.

I have 3 brothers, Nathan is 12 years old and is in year 7, Oliver is 8 years old and is in year 3, and Nicholas is 4 years old starting ELC in saint peter’s and he thinks he is a ninja. Sometimes Nathan, Oliver and I call Nicholas, Nicholas the Ridiculous if he is being annoying.(he hates it)
